B3Architects are acting as Project Managers and Lead Designers on a major mixed use development to support the existing impressive and exemplar stadium at Darlington Football Club. Built approximately 4 years ago, the arena has a capacity of 27,000. B3 has developed proposals to compliment the stadium, which will provide financial support and sustainability to the club, as well as encouraging local investment and providing services to the local community.
The current proposal includes the provision of 10 Indoor 6-a-side pitches, a children’s nursery, an education day / leisure centre, a car wash, a 100 bed hotel with executive leisure club, 4 No. Restaurants, a family pub, coffee house, office accommodation and 4 No. Training pitches, one of which will be the latest ‘3G’ all weather technology.

Ian Holmes, B3’s Regional Director North East stated ‘B3 lead a strong team of consultants, tasked with the remit of delivering this exciting project, for both Darlington FC and its surrounding community. The proposal will provide a mixed facility that will establish Darlington Football Club as a key sports / event venue, not only within the North East, but UK wide.
