Unit 5 Great Oak Business Park, Llanidloes

B3Architects have recently received an award at the Greener Homes and Building Exhibition. Unit 5 Parc Derwen Fawr has won the BREEAM AWARD for Wales : Part of an enterprise park at Llanidloes Powys for Office use. The structure is a timber framed unit with slate roof using locally sourced material and designed to comply with the latest BREEAM regulations. Unit 5 Great Oak Business park is part of a phased constuction project in Wales. This particular phase includes the construction of four buildings; two office blocks. This project is linked to the Welsh Assembly Government’s aim’s to create thriving, sustainable communities by providing wider econmic links for the surrounding area and this project is recognising and utilising the contribution and significance of the manufacturing area in the Upper Severn Valley.
