B3Architects are celebrating again as they are one of only 5 Architects to win the national BCSE Inspiring Design Award for school design. B3Architects were the overall winner in the category for Special Needs School Design at the 2008 Awards.

Ty Goddard Director of BCSE said;

"We're delighted to have received so many entries for the awards.  The quality of entries led to some rigorous debate amongst the judges, and shows that investment in schools is producing fantastic projects which we can be proud of and all learn from. Our thanks go to all the architects, construction firms, suppliers, local authorities, schools and everyone else involved in these projects for being willing to invest their time and energy to ensure our children and teachers have inspiring, functional schools to learn and teach in. “

"These awards are a big 'thank you' to all those helping to make our schools better."

At a recent gathering of the Design Team to celebrate the success with the client Bath and North East Somerset and the Headteacher, Julie Dyer, B3Architects also handed over a cheque for £250 following a sponsored cycle ride by members of the architectural team in Cardiff – the money will be put towards the Sensory Theatre Appeal which will allow a state of the art digital sensory environment to be completed in the coming months.
