Robin Coombes - Chairman of B3Safety and founder of the environmental consultancy Eres. His role is to develop and present new thinking to influence the agendas of business and government on understanding and balancing the objectives of economic regeneration and environmental sustainability. A Chartered Architect by profession his career covers not only the design and delivery of buildings but also the wider fields of master planning, transport planning and regional development. Throughout his working life Robin has adopted a ‘roll-up the sleeves’ practical solutions driven approach to deliver results that make a real difference. He has worked in a number of developing countries from Russia to Albania. In the UK he has played key roles on a number of major projects including the International Sports Village and, at the time the world’s largest inward investment – LG Wales. He is currently a member of the City of Cardiff futures forum and chair of communications and connectivity.
